Adam P. Smith is the President of The Colorado Real Estate Finance Group, Inc., a Real Estate Finance, Development, and Speculation firm. During his career he has helped thousands of clients, both individuals and corporations, in their goals regarding real estate finance as well as both personal and corporate finance in general.
Adam is a member of the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association, the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers, and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. He was also a founding charter member of the Rocky Mountain Association of Mortgage Brokers. He played an integral part in the Colorado mortgage licensing process serving as a lobbyist and counsel at the Business Affairs Committee hearings at the State House of Representatives in 2006 and 2007. His company is also a member of the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau with a perfect record for as long as they have been such.
Adam was awarded the MPI Broker of the Year award in 2003 and again in 2004. He was also awarded Broker of the Month seventeen times between 2003 and 2005. He has received ABC awards as a business partner in 2006 and 2007. He has most recently been awarded the South Metro Denver Realtor Association Affiliate Superstar Award in 2008.
Adam regularly teaches classes on marketing and contact management to other brokers, realtors, insurance agents, and other consumer related business groups. He lectures to the direct to consumer community on how to build repeat and referral business, how to eliminate marketing costs, and how to build life long clients.
Adam is currently serving as the South Metro Denver Realtor Association Affiliate Assistant Vice President and is also a team lead for South Metro Denver Realtor Association Affiliate Ambassador program. He has also recently served as Committee Co-Chair for the Cinco De Mayo Event in 2008. He has served on many other SMDRA Committees including the MDRF Golf Tournament, the Affiliate Cookbook, the Holiday Breakfast, the Winter Social, the Clothing Drive, and the Recycle Project. He has mentored several SMDRA Realtor and Affiliate members and has even taught classes at SMDRA.
Adam works in a volunteer public information officer capacity for the Douglas County Sherriff’s office as a watch captain, and has been a SAR member in past years. He has been a certified member of the Red Cross HOPE Disaster Volunteer Program since 2005. He also sits on the Executive Board for the Colorado Disabled Athletics Association as the Vice President of Fundraising. He works most closely with the Colorado Avalanche Sled Hockey program for disabled youth. He is also a board member for the Lane Development Group in a finance role in their efforts to further develop large Colorado real estate projects. |
