If you’re looking for a location dedicated to perfecting the art of the brunch, this is by far the best at doing so. First Watch is a chain based out of Florida, but it has over 400 locations in more than half the states across the nation.
However, just because it is a chain doesn’t mean it sacrifices the quality. First Watch offers a collection of healthy and hearty breakfast options perfect for a quick meal after a workout or a Sunday brunch with the family. Some of their best items are the Million Dollar Bacon, any of their juices, and their hashes are to die for.
The only drawback, for some, is that there are no mimosas or other brunchy boozy beverages. However, if that small drawback can’t keep you away, make sure to head out and plan a visit!

A’Bouzy – Houston, Texas
Pronounced just like how it sounds, this brunch spot is a literal small village among the hustle and bustle of Houston, Texas. Marked as the number one brunch spot in many locals’ books, A’Bouzy has classic fare, as well as fun spins on these classics.
They have a raw bar option, hashes, omelets, and plenty of fresh fish to round out the fare. In addition, this location sports a fine collection of sparkling wine, with many being the perfect pair for that weekend brunch.
Highlights of the brunch menu for this location include any of their seafood options, including a Seafood Pot Pie, Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, and a Brioche French Toast that is to die for. If you’re in the neighborhood, A’Bouzy would love to have you for brunch!

The Queen Mary – Long Beach, California
This restaurant is a true feast to the eyes and the stomach. The Queen Mary is a docked cruise flagship from the 1930s, embodying the Art Deco style that many might be familiar with, but may not know the name of.
The ship now functions as a restaurant and a hotel of sorts. However, don’t let the location alone wow you. The food itself is amazing, with a host of local seafood, sashimi, prime rib, beef brisket, and other appetizing offerings.

Granite City Brewery – Fargo, North Dakota (and other locations)
This brunch selection goes out to those who like a nice cocktail with their breakfast to help get them into the mood for the weekend. Typical cocktails on the menu include mimosas and Bloody Marys, but Granite City Brewery takes it to a whole ‘nother level!
They claim to have over 300 combinations and types of Bloody Marys on tap when you take into account the vodka, chaser, heat level, and garnish. Those who aren’t Bloody Mary fans can look forward to mimosas or any other of the delicious juices that come with breakfast.
When it comes to food, they haven’t left anything out either. They have all the classics, such as omelets, bacon, pancakes, and more, as well as a carving station with prime rib and a rotating selection of chef specials.
If this brunch buffet captures your attention and you’re nearby, it is a must-have experience. However, you’ll want to be sure to make a reservation, as this restaurant can be pretty popular on Sundays!

Ocean House – Watch Hill, Rhode Island
This beautiful little spot is off the beaten path but well worth it. Of course, being the Northeast, the focus at the Ocean House is on the raw bar, with plenty of fresh shrimp, oysters, and clams. In addition to the seafood offerings, though, are all the breakfast classics – including, of course, delicious desserts.
What makes this brunching location especially great, however, are the unbeatable views. The Ocean House sits on the perfect spot to view the waves as they crash into the nearby surf.
If that isn’t picturesque enough for you, then hopefully the addition of smooth jazz played live in the nearby lobby is enough to get even the toughest-to-please crowd ready for a brunch. If this location is on your list, it’s well worth the trip!
